On October 29th, the first representative conference of the Communist Youth League of Fujian Metallurgical (Holdings) Co., Ltd. was held at Sansteel, attended by six electoral units including Sansteel Group, Xiamen Tungsten Industry, Nanping Aluminum Industry, and Makeng Mining. A total of 100 members were elected to the representative conference. Xiamen Tungsten Industry, as the second delegation, produced a total of 38 representatives, including 7 representatives from Xiamen Jinlu.

After the election of the congress, the first committee of the Communist Youth League Fujian Metallurgical (Holdings) Co., Ltd. was formed. Xie Yiping, Guo Kunfeng, Shen Weihuang, Chen Zhenhuan, Huang Liqi, Lai Jianping, and Zhang Qi were elected as members of the first committee. At the meeting, Zhang Ling, General Manager of Fujian Metallurgy, congratulated the successful convening of the conference and expressed her expectations to the young members of the group. One is to strive to be the driving force of ideological guidance, reform and development, technological innovation, and cultural integration; The second is to implement the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of the Communist Youth League and youth in combination with reality, study diligently, uphold integrity, innovate, and work hard, and contribute youthful strength to the all-round promotion of high-quality development and surpassing of Fujian metallurgy.

After the closing of the conference, organized by the preparatory working group of the conference, all members and representatives also carried out a themed group day activity of "Learning Party History, Strengthening Beliefs, and Following the Party" - visiting the Three Steel Exhibition Hall, a learning site for Party history learning and education in Fujian Province, and touring the Three Steel Industry tourism route.

The following is the insights from the participation of representatives from Jinlu: Qiu Zhiwei, the physical coating operator of the overall tool manufacturing department, was able to attend this conference, which truly touched me deeply and inspired me to strive forward. The agenda of the meeting, from the preparatory meeting to the formal meeting, from the opening and singing of the national anthem, leaders' speeches, group photos, general election to the closing and singing of the group song, has touched me with many things worth experiencing. Among them, the speech by Ms. Zhang Ling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the company, that touched me the most was when she mentioned the idea of "Fujian Metallurgy playing a chess game". She also added the phrase "strong enterprises have me" after the youthful oath of "please rest assured, the strong country has me", which greatly inspired me and strengthened our confidence and determination to join the youth enterprise. As the younger generation, we should learn more about and participate in such activities. As representatives, we should set an example and lead by example, advocating and guiding everyone to participate in learning. As a model of traditional manufacturing enterprises, Chen Weijie, the mechanical engineer of the Equipment Department at Sangang, is not as conservative and backward as I imagined. On the contrary, they constantly keep up with the times, have advanced control room coordination and scheduling, excellent corporate culture, reasonable park planning, and even have their own railway lines, reflecting the indomitable attitude of a traditional industry giant in the current of the times. As the driving force of reform and innovation, we young comrades urgently need to learn the spirit of San Gang (dancing at the sound of a chicken, moving at the sound of a wind, and rejoicing at a mistake) and its values (being sincere and striving for excellence in one's career). I feel that this is both an honor and a responsibility; It is said to be an honor because all levels of subsidiaries under the provincial metallurgical control have a glorious and profound history, such as Sanming Iron and Steel, Xiamen Tungsten Industry, Nanping Aluminum Industry, etc. Their entrepreneurial history can be traced back to 1958, which was just a few years after the end of the Korean War. The industrialization of the Republic was still in its infancy. It was in such a poor and backward situation that our ancestors, with extraordinary will and wisdom, made this ancient land grow towering trees of industrialization. Being in such a glorious collective is itself a kind of glory. It is a responsibility because the Communist Youth League of China is a group organization of advanced youth led by the CPC, a school for young people to learn socialism with Chinese characteristics and communism in practice, and an assistant and reserve force of the CPC. The road through the Xiongguan Pass is as solid as iron, and now we are stepping forward from scratch. From 1921 to 2021, we are facing a great change that has not been seen in a hundred years.
