In order to help the 2022 graduates understand the basic process of job hunting, improve their professional competence and employment competitiveness, Wuhan University of Technology held the "Just at Wuhan University" simulated recruitment competition. This competition is hosted by the Student Affairs Department and jointly organized by the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the School of Automotive Engineering.

Our company, as a guest enterprise invited by Wuhan University of Technology, participated in this simulated recruitment competition. During the pre competition and preliminary stage of the event, our human resources department arranged personnel to screen the resumes of 60 students who simulated applying for positions in our company. They also organized online leaderless group discussions and interviews, as well as a second interview, and ultimately selected one person to enter the finals.

On the afternoon of June 10th, the final of the simulated recruitment competition was held at the Nanhu Campus of Wuhan University of Technology. Our company, along with Anhui Conch Cement Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. Technology Center, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Technology Center, Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Xiaopeng Automotive Technology Co., Ltd., Midea Group, Sany Group Co., Ltd., Wuchang Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., and ZTE Corporation, participated in the finals of this simulated recruitment competition and served as judges. Our human resources department representative Lin Fengzi participated in this event on behalf of the company.

This competition attracted more than 500 2022 graduates to register and participate. After screening in the preliminary and preliminary rounds, 10 students from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Automotive Engineering, School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, School of Automation, etc. stood out and advanced to the finals.

Before the competition began, Zeng Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers. He warmly welcomed and thanked the guests, introduced the school's employment practices and achievements in recent years, and wished the final a complete success.

The atmosphere at the finals was tense and lively, simulating a real job application scenario. There were four stages: "self presentation", "leaderless group discussion", "ultimate interview", and "judge comments". This simulated recruitment competition emphasizes the combination of training and competition, focusing on enhancing students' job competitiveness. Prior to the preliminaries, job seeking training such as "resume creation training" and "interview skills training" were conducted; Before the finals, each guest company conducted empowerment training for the contestants and provided targeted guidance for them.

After multiple rounds of intense competition, Ding Shu'an from Automation Class 1803 finally won the first prize in the competition with outstanding comprehensive ability and excellent on-site performance. Huo Jiachen from Class 1801 in Energy, Meng Qinglei from Class 1802 in Control, and Li Zhigao from Class 1802 in Machinery won the second prize. Jin Bolun from Class 193 in Automotive Research, Qian Zhixin from Class 1801 in Engineering, Li Yuanquan from Class 1803 in Measurement and Control, Mao Yingzhong from Class 194 in Automotive Research, Gao Yuan from Class 1803 in Energy, and Du Cong from Class 1801 in Measurement and Control won the third prize.

Finally, the leaders and guests presented awards to the award-winning students and took a group photo as a souvenir. The Wuhan University of Technology's "Just at Wuhan University of Technology" simulated recruitment competition came to a successful end amidst warm applause.
