At the height of summer, with sustained high temperatures, a heatwave is approaching.

In order to effectively carry out heatstroke prevention and cooling work, and ensure the health and safety of frontline workers, on the morning of August 1, 2025, Shi Sujiang, Vice Chairman of the Xiamen Manufacturing Industry Trade Union Federation and Director of the Municipal Machinery Energy Electronics Trade Union Working Committee, led a team accompanied by Zou Jianping, Deputy General Manager and Trade Union Chairman of the company, to go deep into the high-temperature operation sites of the cutting tool business unit and the reversible tool manufacturing department, and carried out the "Sending Coolness" high-temperature condolence activity, bringing heatstroke prevention and cooling materials and warm care to the workers who stick to their posts in the scorching summer, supporting a "green shade" for the fighters, and expressing deep care to all frontline workers who are not afraid of "roasting" tests, sweating profusely, and fulfilling their duties.

The "Sending Coolness" activity this time is a vivid practice of the "employee centered" work philosophy practiced by the Municipal Manufacturing Industry Trade Union Federation and our company's trade union. It is a concrete action to do practical things and solve problems for employees, greatly inspiring the confidence and enthusiasm of frontline workers to fight against high temperatures and ensure production. It allows workers who stick to their posts in high temperatures to truly feel the warmth of "family members". The Municipal Manufacturing Industry Federation stated that it will continue to pay attention to the needs of workers, do a good job in summer labor protection, and provide a "sunshade" for frontline workers.

Subsequently, the research team of the Municipal Manufacturing Industry Federation visited Xiamen Jinlu's "Love Summer Care Class" at Xihongtang Kindergarten in Tong'an District to inspect the teaching environment, safety facilities, kitchen areas, and other aspects of the summer care class. They delved into the class to understand the progress of children's care, teaching activities, and other related work. They also conducted a detailed examination of the care time, list of employee children, teacher resources, and safety measures.

The research team fully recognizes the work of Xiamen Jinlu's "Love Summer Care Class" and believes that the facilities and equipment of this summer care class are complete, the rules and regulations are sound, the curriculum is rich, and the security measures are in place. At the same time, the research team presented the first batch of "Excellent Student Certificates" and "Graduation Certificates" to the children in the multi-functional room of the park.

This research activity has enabled nearly a hundred children of employees in the Love Summer Care Class to feel the care and warmth of the union, and greatly encouraged the enthusiasm of the company's employees, summer care teachers, and union volunteers.

Next, the Municipal Federation of Manufacturing Industry Trade Unions, the Municipal Machinery Energy Electronics Trade Union, Xiamen Jinlu, and others will continue to explore the mechanism and model of caring daycare services, continuously monitor the operation of caring daycare classes, optimize service content, and make caring daycare classes a happy home for employees' children during the summer.
