In order to enrich the employees' amateur cultural life and lead the majority of employees to acquire knowledge and nutrition from different cultural activities, the Tool Branch held the first cultural experience activity of the Tool Branch in 2022 with the theme of "We Are Chefs" on June 19.
The content of this cultural experience activity is the production of Western food. Under the leadership of the New Oriental teacher, everyone first visited the campus of the New Oriental Culinary Vocational Training School. The teacher explained the relevant knowledge of Western food, Chinese food, noodle art and sugar art. Learned the making of the signature bubble tea and the making of Australian steak with seasonal vegetables.
Have a cup of "Pearl Casually" milk tea
At the first stop, everyone came to the beverage production area. The teacher first explained the formula and production method of bubble tea, and demonstrated the production process of bubble tea by himself. After mastering the theoretical knowledge, everyone began to practice, from weighing black tea and milk powder, to adding sugar, adding ice, stirring and shaking, and finally adding pearls and cups. After many processes, they got a cup of signature pearl milk tea. The highlight of this session is "Pearl Addition", you can make an all-you-can-drink "Pearl Addition" milk tea according to your personal preferences!
Have a "so thick" steak
At the second stop, everyone went to the western food production area. The western food teacher first explained the types of steaks, the production methods and precautions of different steaks, and then gradually decomposed and demonstrated the production process of steaks for everyone. According to the guidance of the teacher, everyone completed the frying of the steak and the production of matching vegetables step by step. The highlight of this session is "the steak can be so thick". Unlike the thin steak eaten in fast food restaurants, the steak made by the teacher is about 4cm thick, which is a veritable "so thick" steak. The key is that it is delicious!
Through this cultural experience activity, we provided an opportunity to experience different cultural aspects, so that everyone could experience the difference between Western catering culture and Chinese catering culture. Everyone said that this activity was very fruitful and looked forward to the next cultural experience activity. More surprises to come!
