MECT 2023 was grandly held from October 18 to 21 at the Nagoya Port Exhibition Center (Nagoya Exhibition Hall) in Japan.

MECT 2023 will be held in grand style from October 18 to 21 at the Nagoya International Exhibition Center (Port Messe Nagoya).

The MECT exhibition was first held in 1987 and has since been staged biennially in alternating years with JIMTOF, making it Japan’s largest trade show for machine tools and machining equipment. Held in Nagoya—a city where Japan’s machinery industry is particularly concentrated—it is the premier machine tool exhibition in odd-numbered years. Since its inception in 1987, the event has been held 18 times; the most recent edition featured 426 companies and organizations (with a total of 1,795 booths) and attracted approximately 70,000 visitors. This year’s venue brings together cutting-edge equipment and products from around the world, as well as the latest advancements in machining and automation—four days that truly convey the vibrant dynamism of Japan’s manufacturing sector.
