On December 20th, the exciting 3rd "Youth Dedication to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Advancing and Taking Responsibility towards the Future" Workers' Fun Games and Red Games of Xiamen Jinlu were successfully concluded at the new factory area of Xiamen Jinlu in Haicang. While celebrating the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Xiamen Jinlu embarked on a new journey of self-improvement and health with an innovative Red Games.

This event is hosted by the Labor Union of Xiamen Jinlu Special Alloy Co., Ltd. and organized by the company's Youth Committee and various grassroots labor unions. After intense competition in the internal preliminaries of each branch in November, 8 representative teams stood out and are now standing on the finals stage today. They are:

Starting at 8:30 am, the Jinlu Band will perform the pleasant opening song "Blue Lotus". Then, each team formation will enter the stage to showcase their style. Following that, Jinlu Band's lead singer Ji Zhiyang will cheer the athletes up with an impassioned song "Fly Higher"!

Zou Jianping, the chairman of the Xiamen Jinlu Labor Union, delivered the opening speech. Mr. Zou pointed out that in response to General Secretary Xi Jinping's call in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to promote the comprehensive development of mass sports and competitive sports and accelerate the construction of a strong sports nation, this Red Workers' Sports Meeting is specially held to enhance the physical and psychological qualities of employees, improve team cohesion, and showcase the positive and energetic spirit of Jinlu employees.

Subsequently, General Manager Jiang Tao and General Manager Wang Mingsheng of the First Alloy Business Department jointly unveiled the "Jinlu Self-improvement and Health Cup".

Project 1: Seizing the Position. The Powder Branch provides the project. There are 9 men and 1 woman, with two teams competing. The participants line up in a row and deliver in turn. Within the specified time, they use artillery shells (prop balls) to throw and compete for positions at a 5-meter distance (tungsten powder buckets in a 9x9 grid). The team that seizes the most positions wins, but if the positions seized form a three-point connection (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) during the process, they win directly.

Project 2: Heroic Bunker Blowing. The Alloy Branch provides the project, with 9 males and 1 female participating. One team member uses a super slingshot to launch "birds (dolls)". The receivers line up outside the venue, holding containers, and enter the receiving area one at a time in order to receive the "birds". The final score is determined by the number of "birds" received.

Project Three: "A Heron Soaring to the Sky". The Tools Branch will provide the project, with 9 males and 1 female participants. It is divided into four sub-projects: transporting supplies (7 people), bomb placement (1 person), grenade throwing (1 person), and fighter jet bombing (1 person). This project is technical in nature, testing the team's coordination.

Project 4: Zhu De's Shoulder Pole. The Operations Branch provides the project, with 9 men and 1 woman. Each team member carries the load in a relay race (with a 15-meter round trip). The team transports the load from the starting point to the end point and then back to the starting point, and gives a high-five to the next teammate. The process is repeated until the last teammate completes the race, at which point the timing is stopped.

Project 5: Unicycle Support. The Federation of Trade Unions provides the project, with 9 men and 1 woman participating. The goal is to transport supplies (sandbags) for the frontline soldiers. Each team member starts in relay, transports the supplies across obstacles, and arrives at the finish line (the track is 15 meters round trip). After unloading the supplies, they push the unicycle back to the starting point and give a high-five to the next team member for relay. The total time taken to complete the transportation of 20 sandbags is recorded as the team's result.

Project 6: Crossing the Chishui River. The Federation of Trade Unions provides the project. There are 9 men and 1 woman, with 5 participants standing inside the equipment. After the referee gives the command, each team member quickly lifts the prop and moves forward. After reaching the finish line, they answer a question correctly and then return. Upon reaching the starting point, they give a high-five to pass the baton, and so on. The next 5 members repeat the process until they reach the starting point, and the timing ends.

Project 7: Crossing the Jinsha River Skillfully. The project is submitted by the Federation of Trade Unions. Nine men and one woman are involved. The transported person sits on top of the air cushion, with four people responsible for pushing the air cushion forward from the starting point to the end point (the track is 15 meters long). At the end point, the transported person lands, and the four people then move the prop to the starting point for the next round of transportation. This process is repeated until all six people have completed the transportation. The timing ends when the front end of the air cushion touches the finish line.

Event 8: Tugging Mountains and Rivers, submitted by the Federation of Trade Unions. This event features 9 men and 1 woman. Tug-of-war is the final event of this sports meeting, and it will push the event to a climax. It reflects the spirit of the team members thinking and exerting their efforts together! This is an event that prioritizes strength, with skills as a supplement. Of course, in the face of absolute strength, no amount of skill can help.

After 64 matches and nearly a day of intense competition, the champions, runners-up, and third place finishers for the 8 events have been determined. They are:

According to the competition rules, where individual champions earn 5 points, runners-up earn 3 points, and third place finishers earn 1 point, the final operation team emerged as the dark horse and won the overall team championship at the 3rd Xiamen Jinlu Red Fun Sports Meeting for Employees. As the extraordinary year of 2022 draws to a close, Xiamen Jinlu ushered in the arrival of 2023 with a fun and festive employee sports event themed around the red color, symbolizing the Communist Party.
